Raptors Army Complete - For Now

So I attended a tournament at the weekend, and before I head off to work today I thought I'd post a couple of pictures of my army, I would do a review later but it would mainly consist of bitching about my dice rolls and the inability to roll 2+ armour saves.

K-Con 2012 - Game 2

On to game 2, having (barely) beaten Jan in my first game I was up against Barry Hickey and his Space Wolves in a Dawn of War/Annihilation game.

K-Con 2012 - Game 1

So as some of you will know I went to a tournament yesterday in Dublin. A one day, 5 battle, 1000 point, highlander format, tournament to be precise.

My first battle was against the current best player in Ireland - Jan Karnowski, and his Orks.

Now I would just like to preface this, and the other battle reports I'll be writing shortly, by saying that I forgot to take notes or photos, and when I did get back home late last night I went out on the town for a 'few' drinks. So please excuse any errors.

So having decided upon a list and built the units I'll need I now have a little under 2 weeks to get everything painted to at least a three colour minimum to take part in K-Con.

Now this is the part where things get interesting. I could paint the models to a quick 3 colour minimum and get in some practice games or I could go to town on the models and do a really good job and no doubt get my arse handed to me by all and sundry. Guess which I've picked...
