So I attended a tournament at the weekend, and before I head off to work today I thought I'd post a couple of pictures of my army, I would do a review later but it would mainly consist of bitching about my dice rolls and the inability to roll 2+ armour saves.
So without further ado - pictures stolen from the North Down Gamers Hub because I was too lazy to take my own lol.
awesome looking army Chris, assume you used BA codex?
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Duce, yeah they're blood angels, thought I'd give them a go and see what they're like. I think I did alright considering my dice decided to conspire with the enemy to have me destroyed lol.
DeleteHey man great looking army! Would you be interested in joining the Badab Veterans (blog link: http://thefallenprinces.blogspot.co.uk/p/badab-veterans.html). Would really like on board.
ReplyDeleteSilar
The army actually looks better IRL than in the pics, though it looks good there. I suppose that's some measure of consolation for Chris' lack of playing skill. ;)
ReplyDeleteFirstly the photos weren't mine so beggars can't be choosers, and at least I had an assembled and painted army, unlike some :)
DeleteSecondly, my dice sucked so bad that almost all my games were over with an hour to spare. thats a 1 hour 30 minute game "Mr 5-hours" :)
But to be honest I was dissapointed not to win best painted, and still havent got a look at the army that did.
Hey mate. You going to skibbcon? Recently changed from SM to BA myself and finding the codex nicely balanced. Not too cheesy but not too gimped compared to modern codices. Definately gives more options than vanilla.
ReplyDeleteI can't make Skibbcon unfortunately, but I am heading to Q-con in Belfast on the weekend of the 23rd. And I totallyt agree on the codex, fair;y well balanced.
DeleteHi ItsPug,
ReplyDeleteIt's really Impressive.
