Achtung Panzer!

Hey all, I'd like to apologise and put to rest the rumours of my demise, I started an OU law course in February and thought I'd have plenty of time to keep everything going but I was overwhelmed with the work, I now only have my final assignment to do so I should be more active from now on. At least until February again.

Anyway, on to the main point of this post - incoming tanks for the NWG tournament next Saturday

For those not in the know, the NWG tournament is a 2000 point event that allows the use of some FW units and lists (basically anything not a super heavy or gargantuan creature). I've decided to take an armoured battlegroup using the IA1 update.

Just one problem...




Yep, I've just had these bad boys delivered, now I have to build and paint 8 leman russ tanks in less than a week.

Now, due to the nature of the rules of the tournament in the first round we can challenge another player (who must be higher in the rankings) I challenged Jan of team NI ETC fame, to a duel, Jan is a very good ork player and is currently sitting pretty at the top of the Irish Rankings. I'm way down there in 19th at the minute, but not for long.

I reckon it'll be a massacre either way, either I'll destroy him before he gets to my lines, or he'll open my tanks up with his can opener klaws. 'Course I'm not gonna say this to his face and there's a lot of slagging going on already with drinks already being wagered.

Makes a big change from my usual mechanised platoon list that gives away free KP's if you look at them funny...

Just as a note after challenging Jan we exchanged lists, he thought it only fair he give me a chance to avoid facing 216 boys, but I won't post his list up until they go up on the W-ired site.
